Dear new friends,
A little time has passed, which makes it seem even more important to thank you for the profound experience of drifting the middle fork of the Salmon river. It touched me on many levels - for beauty, a sense of awe and respect, remembering the importance of spending time in nature and visiting the past in our country. I appreciated the mastery of your navigating the river as well as dutch ovens and pans. I loved learning to fish with your supportive and directive teaching. It truly was a peak life experience that I hope to return to with my grandkids and family. Thank you so much.
The execution of Aaron’s team in all areas was flawless - the food superlative - and the fishing FUN, FUN, FUN. Being able to share it with such an auspicious group - including our excellent hosts - is what really made it special.
It would be a privilege and a huge joy to get to fish again with such a competent guide and such a nice person. That day with you is still vivid in my memories and will sustain me through many a long day this winter.
I wanted to take a moment of my time, and let you know what an outstanding job you did, and how much I enjoyed myself. From the moment we arrived at the take out point to park our vehicle, you were extremely friendly and professional. Your patience and techniques for teaching me the correct way to fly fish paid off handsomely, as we pulled in at least 60 trout in less than seven hours. This was truly an experience that I will never forget, and I will be sure and let everyone know about the wonderful time I had.
Many thanks for a fabulous trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon. You are the best - everything was perfectly run and coordinated. Food, fishing, guiding, accommodations - everything was spectacular! I hope we will have a chance to join you again soon.
Tom, the boys and I wanted to thank you and your crew for a fabulous, adventurous, spectacular, memory making trip down the Middle Fork. The kids are still talking about the "big one" that got away, "ottering" down the river, jumping off a 40' bridge narrowly escaping with their lives, hiking to a hot springs hot tub, navigating the (I think we are up to level 10) rapids on the JP Pirate ship, cliff jumping, and heavily debating if melted chocolate is better on s'mores.
I'll remember all that as well as the highly orchestrated river team who behind the scenes worked diligently and patiently to give us an awesome vacation to remember. A team who kept the kids engaged and in line, provided empathy and insight on dealing with the benefits and trials of being the youngest (I know Peter really appreciated it), turned missing lasagna noodles into one of the best spaghetti dinners ever, commandeered 2 of the 3 blown away tents out of the river, somehow managed to get a daypack left behind at a lunch sight returned the next day in the middle of the river, brought us back to the college days (not sure if that was a good thing), and did it all with a smile.
I'll miss the bright stars and the pure beauty and serenity of the river – you're so lucky to be able to enjoy it as often as you do.
Thanks again for everything – you guys are great! Wishing you continued success and safe travels down the river.
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for organizing and executing such an awesome trip for all of us! Your team was incredible, and I am still dreaming about the food (big fan of the cornbread and that prime rib was to die for! I could go on about the chocolate cake etc.. truly unforgettable!) My son Max and I could not have had a better time! I hope we get to do it again sometime! You guys know how to make dreams come true!! Spectacular scenery with a spectacular group from the guides to all of us that got to be the recipients of all your hard work!
